Exam Readiness Calculator

Enter your recent practice scores and how many timed mocks you have completed, and get a plain-English readiness call: Ready, Almost Ready, or Not Ready Yet.

Please enter your most recent score, average score, and number of mocks completed as valid numbers (0-100 for scores, 0 or more for mocks) before calculating.

How this works

The calculator sorts your inputs into one of three bands:

Frequently asked questions

How does the exam readiness calculator work?

It compares your most recent practice score, your average of the last several scores, and the number of full-length timed mock exams you have completed against the exam's passing percentage. You are marked Ready only when your average sits comfortably above passing, your most recent attempt also clears it, and you have done at least 3 timed mocks - otherwise it explains exactly which of those is missing.

What if my exam is not in the preset list?

Choose "Other (set passing % manually)" from the dropdown and enter the published passing percentage yourself. The same three-band logic applies to any multiple-choice certification exam.

How many practice mock exams should I take before the real exam?

There is no universal number, but most candidates benefit from at least 3 full-length, timed mock exams close to their target score before sitting the real thing - one mock tells you little about consistency, and timed conditions reveal pacing problems that untimed practice hides.

Does a Ready result guarantee I will pass the real exam?

No. This is an estimate based on the numbers you enter, not an official readiness assessment or a prediction from the certification vendor. Real exams can include unfamiliar question styles, unscored pilot items, and exam-day nerves that practice scores cannot fully capture.

What counts as a "full-length timed mock"?

A single sitting where you answer a realistic number of questions back-to-back under a timer, without pausing to check answers mid-exam - closer to real exam conditions than short untimed practice sets or reviewing questions one at a time.

This calculator gives an estimate based on the numbers you enter. It is not an official readiness assessment from any certification vendor and does not guarantee that you will pass the real exam - use it as one signal alongside your own judgment and continued practice.
