The sixty-question mock

The mock is 60 questions drawn from a 1298-question pool, weighted to the five published domains. The mock asks 66% to pass - its own threshold, since the Linux Foundation publishes none. This guide reads all of that out of the shipped data rather than describing it - including a check that turned up 23 questions filed under a domain they have nothing to do with, which matters because the per-domain breakdown is what tells you which track to read.

The pool and the catalogue entry are the files this site ships. The real exam is performance-based and two hours long; the mock is a way to find gaps, not a rehearsal of the format. THE PASS MARK: the Linux Foundation does not publish one for LFCS. The 66% here is this simulator's threshold. Treat any specific percentage you see quoted elsewhere - 66%, 67% - as third-party and unverifiable, and aim well clear of it.
